INTRODUCING OUR NEW MATTE JERSEY GREY COLOR
The lure of Sante Fe, the surrounding landscape, and the iconic Georgia O'Keeffe inspired Fall 18. Using colors of the desert and referencing details from O'Keeffe's personal wardrobe combined with the durable denim of cowboys laid the foundation of the collection. This was fused to create smock shirts and dresses in colors of rust, ivory, browns, and blacks to pair with structured denim pieces and leather.
The collection also lends a soft edge with flowing separates inspired by two of Georgia O'Keeffe's works: 'Untitled (Abstraction Two Green Lines Small Red Circle)', a watercolor on paper from 1979 and 'In the Patio VIII', a paper print from 1950. Together they capture the spirit of the region, one of stillness with a vibrant edge.
I was super excited to get to shoot with Jessica Hoppe of Nueva Yorka for our lookbook, a fashion industry expert and former fashion buyer who contributes to the Huffington Post and Yahoo Lifestyle. Jessica embodies the Meg babe, someone who is out in the world building communities and awareness through fashion and being a champion of latinx culture.
You can check the collection out here and peep a selection of imagery below.
